A brand-new Staffordshire Moorlands-based janitorial supply company has become the latest sponsor of Leek Town FC.
Moorland Contract Janitorial, a division of Moorland Contract Group, has joined its parent company in having a board on the A523 exterior of Leek Town’s Harrison Park ground.
Moorland Contract Group took up sponsorship twelve months ago after its director Suzanne Davy had got to know Leek Town chairman Jon Eeles through the Staffordshire Moorlands Chamber of Commerce.
Suzanne Davy said: “Getting to know Jon and seeing the great set up at Leek Town made it an easy decision to sponsor the club. The board we had last year attracted a lot of interest and gave us a new angle for some very positive PR.
“A lot has happened in the past year; we’ve re-structured our group and created the new janitorial division and therefore wanted to update our sponsorship of Leek Town to help us advertise the new business.”
The newly launched Moorland Contract Janitorial will supply a full range of janitorial and cleaning products to a broad spectrum of customers, including warehouses, offices, schools and retail and leisure venues.
The face of Moorland Contract Janitorial will be Leek businesswoman, Jackie Walker, who joins as business development manager. Jackie has a wealth of experience in business development, sales, human resources and finance. The business officially started trading at the beginning of September.
Jon Eeles added: “It’s great to have a sponsor like Moorland Contract Group and Moorland Contract Janitorial on board. Suzanne and Jackie both really understand that sponsorship benefits both parties and is not just a financial transaction.”
